The Finance Administration Department is one of the major pillars of ORDA Ethiopia, essential for achieving the organisation's objectives. It develops financial management policies and procedures that support the effectiveness and efficiency of ORDA's strategy implementation.

Our Accounting System
ORDA Ethiopia operates a computerised accounting software system with a Local Area Network (LAN) facility. A cloud networking system was also established in recent years, allowing project accountants across all field offices to access the accounting system in real time. This networking accounting system supports end-to-end accounting operations.
Audit Excellence
In accordance with Ethiopian Charities and Societies Proclamation No. 621/2009, ORDA assigns an external audit firm annually. ORDA Ethiopia's audit report has consistently been certified as an "unqualified" (clean) opinion — the highest possible rating — confirming that the organisation's accounting system is of excellent quality and effectiveness.
